Farhad Behnia stated: One of the important issues that currently has many challenges is unwanted production. In the past, the Ministry of Defense measured the capacity of the market and offered production rights based on the country’s capacity. In fact, the amount of demand and production was under the microscope and the manufacturer advances the production based on that.
He continued: “Unfortunately, today this law has been lost and the Ministry of Security allows manufacturers to produce without considering the country’s capacity.” Some of these unwanted manufacturers do not comply with the standards. This group often doesn’t have a laboratory and they don’t want to follow the rules of the market and car manufacturers.
This member of the board of directors of the Automobile Parts Manufacturers Association added: Naturally, unwanted manufacturers want to enter the market, but since they have limited capacity, they resort to unconventional methods. They try to attract the attention of car manufacturers by breaking the price and using low-quality raw materials, which of course they succeed. They are trying to enter the market in this way, and car manufacturers open the way for them to enter by buying from these manufacturers. One of the perpetrators and culprits of this problem are car manufacturers.
He clarified: The Ministry of Security, as the manager of this field, should turn to capacity measurement as in the past. Unfortunately, instead of being used in the field of items that do not have a production line or products with a small number of production lines, large capitals are injected into the field of products that have full capacity. The Ministry of Security should follow up and manage this issue and use the funds in the right sector.
Farhad Behnia, a member of the board of directors of the Automobile Parts Manufacturers Association, said: One of the objectives of the consortium consisting of three private sectors of production, distribution and services should be the issue of capacity measurement. In the past, a list of the laboratories of automobile manufacturers and parts manufacturers was prepared and presented to the ministry for measuring domestic and imported goods, which unfortunately was not successful, but this list will be prepared again and presented to the consortium to be used in the discussion of capacity measurement and management of unwanted producers.
